As a seasoned hairstylist with over a decade of experience in the beauty industry, I have honed my skills and expertise to become a trusted name in hair care and styling. My journey began at the age of 10 when I discovered my passion for beauty, and by 11, I was already working as a sweeper in a local salon, eager to immerse myself in the world of hairstyling.

At just 14, I enrolled in cosmetology school at my high school, and by 16, I proudly obtained my cosmetology license in the state of Maryland. While pursuing my bachelor's degree in business administration at Morgan State University, I concurrently built my career as a hairstylist, working in several prestigious salons across Maryland. My talent and dedication quickly garnered attention, leading to a rapidly expanding clientele of over 800 women in the area.

In response to the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, I seized the opportunity to fulfill my entrepreneurial aspirations and opened my first hair salon at the age of 24. Offering an array of services including hair and makeup, luxury extensions, braids, and more, my salon became a beacon of style and sophistication, providing employment opportunities to local beauty professionals.

In January 2023, I relocated to Houston, Texas, to meet the increasing demand for natural and bridal hair specialists. Within just four months, my clientele in Houston surpassed 450, a testament to my commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction. Today, my client base has grown to over 650 individuals, reflecting the trust and loyalty I have earned within the community.

Recognizing the importance of giving back, I have dedicated myself to mentoring aspiring hairstylists through workshops and my mentoring program, "No Stylist Left Behind." Additionally, I have been invited to speak on entrepreneurial panels and share my insights with business students at various college campuses.

Now, with demand soaring in Houston, I am excited to embark on a new chapter in my career. Committed to fostering community and empowering others, I am eager to continue making a positive impact in the beauty industry.
